8 Best Rooftop Bars in Paris to Bring a Date

Sure, Paris most definitely sucks sometimes, but I believe there’s gotta be more to it than delicious cheese and wine to make people come back asking for more.

It’s safe to say these amazing rooftop bars in Paris have a huge role to play, cause let’s be honest, debating why the Eiffel Tower looks like a phallic piece of steel is way more interesting with a few mojitos in you.

So if you happen to be in Paris this summer, make sure you save some pennies and go check out these fancy rooftop bars!

Le Quarante Trois Cocktail Bar

This bar is well known for its delicious cocktails. It’s located on the roof top of the Holiday Inn hotel in Notre Dame, right in the center of Paris. View looks OKAY.

Where : 4 rue Danton 75006 Paris

Le Perchoir du Marais

This bar is only open from July 1st to October on top of the BHV hotel. Get ready to queue up to maybe not be let in, so make sure you don your fanciest outfit.

Where: 37 rue de la Verrerie, 75004 Paris

Les Ombres

This bar and restaurant is located on the Branly museum terrasse. The view is quite amazing, if you think the Eiffel Tower is worth staring at. Good for selfies.

Where: 27, quai Branly 75007 Paris

Le Perchoir

Locals-only vibe in this secret rooftop bar in the center of Paris. Make sure you book for dinner at the restaurant and sneak upstairs for a cocktail to finish it off.

Where: 14 rue Crespin du Gast 75011 Paris

Le Wanderlust

Well known among the locals, Le Wanderlust is more than a stylish rooftop bar. Kids activities, yoga classes and brunches are available, along with delicious cocktails… Of course, it comes with a price. Come dressy and in good company as it’s quite a selective venue.

Where: 32 Quai d'Austerlitz 75013 Paris

Le Bar - Shangri LA

The rooftop lounge in the Shangri La is the perfect spot to watch a sunset in good company (of a cocktail). The view is incredible and the atmosphere more inclined towards champagne than cider. Gotta know what you want!

Tip: The secret space on the 2nd floor  is open to the public from 4pm to 11:30pm without reservations.

Where: 10 Avenue d'Iéna

Raphael La Terrasse

This beautiful terrace in the middle of a suspended garden is worth a check. The panoramic view over Paris is definitely selfie-worthy and the drinks incredibly expensive.

Where: 17 avenue Kleber 75016 Paris

Lounge Bar View Rooftop

Located on the roof top of the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse, the Lounge Bar probably the largest rooftop terrace in the trendy Oberkampf/Mesnilmontant district. This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset in Paris with a view!

Where: 257 rue de Vaugirard 75015 Paris
