3 Surprisingly Amazing European Budget Airlines

Ok, let's get one thing straight, budget airlines blow. Can we agree? Good.

Now that we've established that, let's talk about the lesser of two evils, the 3 European budget airlines that don't suck, and believe us, there are many that absolutely blow. But you don't need us to tell you that, because if you are reading this article it is either that you have lived the unending hell of flying a shit low cost airline through Europe or you have heard the horror stories from those who have.

Leave it to us and we'd be in business class eating sushi off a topless model but when that isn't an option, and you've got a budget, consider flying with one of the airlines below, if you just make sure to follow the rules and to remember not to act like a complete asshole, you'll spare yourself a horror story of your own.

WizzAir

The official budget airline of Hungary, WizzAir is pretty straightforward with their offering. They aren't going to pamper you, wipe your ass or hold your hand, but as long as all you're bringing on the flight is a tampon and a good attitude, you'll be just fine.

Our flights were on time, the flight staff friendly and their app made the entire process surprisingly pain free. However, keep your eye peeled for changes in package restrictions as we hear through the grape vine that they might soon introduce a fee for simply carrying on something as small as a purse or backpack.

EasyJet

Ahh EasyJet, the little red headed step-child of RyanAir, maybe the world's most hated airline of all time. We simply put EasyJet on this list because we hate RyanAir so much we don't have much left over for EasyJet.

Now, here's the thing with most budget airlines, as long as you follow their rules to the T, you'll be fine. However, waiver the slightest bit in any direction and you're screwed. Thought you could get away with packing those 2 extra pairs of panties for your weekend trip? Nope, don't even try it. They'll smell an overweight bag from across the checkin counter like an American smells a McDonald's from 2 miles away.

That being said, EasyJet might be a hassle but they'll most likely have the cheapest flights to the most number of cities across Europe you are looking to take for that shitty 2 extra panty holiday you are planning.

Norwegian

Ok, if you've made it this far into the article you're in for a treat. Norwegian quite possible offers the best budget flights throughout Europe and you've probably never heard of it and if you did, you probably assumed it was too expensive because its Scandinavian. You're wrong.

Flying to most major European cities, Norwegian is fast, on time, kind, easy and best of all many of the planes offer free on board wifi, how cool is that! You might even get the chance for a layover in Norway where you can enjoy a creamy fish soup while wearing a wool turtleneck, now who's complaining?
